  • When a player uses the Auntie Ability and buys an item off an opponent for twice the amount it cost, the money goes to the opponent (not the bank)

  • The bought item will instantly be laid down on the table

  • The Unique Drink Power “Your remaining items cost 1000 less..." does not reduce the cost of the Auntie ability

  • The Crazy Ex does not affect this ability

  • If a player does not have three guests to discard, then they are unable to play Grandma’s Ability.

  • Once Grandma’s Ability has been played, lay the Grandma card in your Item cards. Grandma now counts as a Wildcard missing item (and no longer counts as a guest for the rest of the game).

  • The Crazy Ex does not affect the Auntie ability.

  • Apply the "1000 less" from the Unique Item Drinks power after doubling the item cost from The Crazy Ex ability (if a player has both).

king_edited.png

The King

  • Ability can only be played if the player has both the King and the Queen laid down in their guests.

  • The Ability can only be played once in a turn as either the King or the Queen will be discarded when the Ability is played.

  • When the Ability is played, only discard either The King or The Queen (not both).

  • The next free item Ability has to be used the turn the Ability is played. It cannot be banked for a later turn.

  • The Item that is played counts as that player’s Item that turn (i.e. they cannot play another item that turn).

  • We believe The Magician's ability requires no further explanation. Let us know if we've missed something.

  • Cannot take grandma or uncle cards if they have been turned into Wildcard missing Items.

  • The Plus One can be laid down into your own Guests if the player wishes but the Ability is not active (i.e. the player does not have to declare they have won and wait a turn before winning).

queen.png

The Queen

  • Ability can only be played if the player has both the King and the Queen laid down in their guests.

  • The ability can only be played once in a turn as either the King or the Queen will be discarded when the Ability is played.

  • When the ability is played, only discard either The King or The Queen (not both).

  • The next free item ability has to be used the turn the ability is played. It cannot be banked for a later turn.

  • The Item that is played counts as that player’s Item that turn (i.e. they cannot play another item that turn).

crying baby.png

The Screaming Baby

  • If the Screaming Baby card is revealed when playing the Father of the Bride ‘Dad Joke’ ability, then the Screaming Baby can be immediately laid down in an opponent’s guests.

  • If you have no money, then you can immediately discard the Screaming Baby.

  • The Screaming Baby can be laid down into your own guests if the player wishes but the Ability is not active (I.e. you can still play guests).

  • The opponent may buy Items to spend their money before spending remaining money to remove The Screaming Baby.

uncle.png

Uncle

  • If a player does not have 2 Items currently laid down to discard, then they are unable to play Uncle’s Ability.

  • Once Uncle’s ability has been played, lay the Uncle card in your Item cards. Uncle now counts as a Wildcard missing Item (and no longer counts as a guest for the rest of the game).

Usher

  • We believe the Usher's ability requires no further explanation. Let us know if we've missed something.

wedding coordinator.png

Wedding Coordinator

  • The Wedding Coordinator acts as a one-off shield against the next Ability played against the player. When an Ability is played against the player, then the Wedding Coordinator is discarded (and the card with said Ability is also discarded).

  • If the Ability played against the player does not actually have any affect on the player then the Wedding Coordinator is not discarded and remains in play. (E.g. if an Ability is used to take the player’s drinks, but they have no drinks to take, the Wedding Coordinator remains in play).

  • If a player has the 'Unique Item - Celebrant' in play and a wedding coordinator. The first Ability played against the player is blocked by the celebrant ability "Stop the first negative ability played against you each turn", subsequent Abilities will be blocked by the Wedding Coordinator.

  • The Wedding Coordinator is discarded if the Crazy Ex, The Plus One or Screaming Baby card is played against them. (E.g. Both the Wedding Coordinator and Screaming Baby card would be discarded).

  • If The Crazy Ex, The Plus One or Screaming Baby are already laid down in your guests, then The Wedding Coordinator ability has no impact on their abilities.

  • If a player owns multiple Wedding Coordinators then they can block multiple Abilities in a turn until all Wedding Coordinators have been used up.

  • The attacking player may choose to no longer play the ability if they are made aware that it will be blocked by a Wedding Coordinator.

  • The Wedding Coordinator Ability is not active until the Wedding Coordinator has been played and is in your guests.

UNIQUE ITEMS

  • We believe the Unique Cake's power requires no further explanation. Let us know if we've missed something.

pope.png

Celebrant

  • The Unique Celebrant power blocks the first Ability played against the player (who played the Unique Celebrant) each turn. Subsequent abilities that are played against the player are not blocked by the Celebrant.

  • If an ability is played against a player who has played both the Unique Celebrant and a Wedding Coordinator, then the first ability played is blocked by the Unique Celebrant.

  • If an ability is played that doesn’t negatively affect the owner of the Unique Celebrant card, then the player can still block a negative ability that is played against them that turn.

  • If The Crazy Ex, The Plus One or Screaming Baby are already laid down in your guests, then the Celebrant Power has no impact on their Abilities.

  • The attacking player may choose to no longer play the ability if they are made aware that it will be blocked by the Unique Celebrant power.

  • The Unique Celebrant ability is not active until the Unique Celebrant has been played and is in your items.

  • Apply the "1000 less" from the Unique Item Drinks power after doubling the item cost from The Crazy Ex ability (if a player has both).
